Dr. Sneed has a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, and received his DO from North Texas School of Osteopathic Medicine in Denton, Texas. Upon graduation, he received training for his internship and fellowship in Family Practice Medicine through the US Navy located in Oakland, California and later in Charleston, South Carolina.

Dr. Sneed is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is active in numerous professional organizations, including the Texas Medical Association (TMA) and the Travis County Medical Association (TCMA). Additionally, he is a former Chairman of the Board of South Austin Hospital, as well as board member of Easter Seals Central Texas.

Dr. Sneed is a member of numerous organizations, including the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

In 2020 Dr. Sneed transitioned into a membership only practice with the nationally acclaimed MDVIP organization, which is always listed in the top 10 executive physicals in the United States.

Dr. Sneed is also the medical director of Aesthetica MedSpa, Austin’s very first medical spa and cosmetic dermatology clinic. His first aesthetic office opened in 1998.
